Before the Term Begins

Obtain your email address and begin using it
Obtain your class schedule
Obtain a copy of the academic calendar and plan your semester
Locate your office space (if available) and submit a heating and cooling request
Locate the mail room and your mailbox
Order your parking permit
Order your textbooks through the bookstore
Provide a copy of your textbook to the library
Obtain your keys (including a smart cart key)
Locate your classrooms and try the smart cart
Plan your class according to the Course Outline of Record (COR)
Build your Canvas content
Send syllabus to Division Chair and Dean
Determine and post your student hours
Attend Convocation and division meetings
